(i’m a bit sorry to say that) tonight i went to a political fundraiser. yes, that’s right.
michael ignatieff was in town speaking to a packed ballroom at the delta hotel and i was there, glad-handling with the worst of them. no, i’m not a Liberal (or a fan of partisan politics, for that matter) but the invitation was extended and i had a particular hankering for some rubbery chicken and the usual pleasantries associated with attending an event with a room full of people who hate stephen harper. actually, that might have been the highlight.
